It has been awhile since the last post. Today is as good as any to make a new one. So today, I woke up and as I was preparing to go to work, I see the snow on the ground and thought that I did not have to worry, the Mustang can handle this. After backing out of the garage and down the driveway, I put the car in drive and...nothing; the car is not moving forwards or backwards and I am in the middle of the road with tires spinning furiously. 15 minutes later and still going nowhere, I finally call in and say I am probably not going to be able to get to work. Seeing that I am stuck and not going to work, I basically give up and try to get back in to the garage. I ask a neighbor if he can push but he nor my car has any traction. After thanking the neighbor, I get the shovel and begin shoveling. 15 minutes later, I put the car into drive and get back into the garage. Meanwhile, down the street two cops have arrived and go to one the townhouse units. As I get out and check my progress, one of them takes a quick glance and continues with his buddy to their task at hand. In fact the cop goes back to his car twice and just takes a quick glance at my unfortunate situation. So much for serving and protecting. Too bad I do not have any pictures for you all to see, it was an interesting experience. |
